i want the things i say about a product to be easy to check.
if i say a workflow is automatic, someone should be able to see which steps happen without them. if i say data is private, i should be able to point to the actual boundary. if i say a feature is live, the link should open to the feature.
precision can make a sentence less dramatic. i think that is a good trade. people should not have to translate a big promise into the smaller thing that might be true.
clear claims make it easier for someone to trust the work and easier for me to notice when the work has not caught up.
